Purpose of Qualification

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare and equip Public Service Administrators with the key skills and knowledge needed to effectively operate in the public sector. It is designed to prepare these learners on how to manage, organise and analyse the effects of government policies, and to use business and statistical tools to solve public sector challenges in an ethical manner. Learners will develop skills in budgeting and conducting research.

Assessment of Programme

The Institution will conduct internal assessments by means of assessment activities and signed off work experience log sheets. Upon successful completion of all modules, The Institution provides a statement of results to the candidate and QCTO, as part of the candidate’s application to complete the external Summative Assessment conducted by the QCTO.
